Iowa Children’s Portrait Photography | My first newborn of 2011!

Happy New Year everyone! I hope you guys had a great holiday season and the new year is off to a good start for you. It is for me! I’m super pumped about all the new things going on at Kristina Lynn Photography & Design (more information coming in future blog posts – so subscribe today to keep in the loop!). And on top of it all, my year started out with a fantastic newborn session with Max and I can’t wait any longer  to share some images with you 🙂

I had the opportunity to meet little Max this past week when he came in for his newborn session. Being born on Christmas Eve, he was the perfect present for his parents and he’s such a little peanut! 🙂 He was so excited for his first photo session that he wouldn’t go to sleep, despite all our hardest efforts, but it worked out just fine. We captured some fantastic images of his beautiful, dark eyes and his many expressions. Then towards the end of the session, he decided it was time to take a little nappy nap so we could get some super cute sleeping images as well. Such a cutie! I’m so excited that Libby decided to book The First Year Collection with me so I can document his entire first year and all of his changes 🙂 SO excited! A big thank you goes out to Libby for bring in Max for his session, even if she wasn’t feeling the greatest (darn cold weather colds!) and a HUGE thank you goes out to Max’s grandma for being an awesome helper during the session!
