Meet Alec! I had so much fun with him at his senior portraits session. He’s got such a great personality and pretty sure we laughed throughout the whole session!
A lot of times high school guys are doing a senior portraits session to keep mom happy and oftentimes I don’t have much interaction with them before the session, other than receiving their pre-session questionnaire answers. So I never know what the tone of the session will be until I meet them in person. Alec was awesome! He was easy to work with and would point out backgrounds that caught his eye. I always love when a session is more of a collaboration!
One of Alec’s favorite places on Earth is being on the lake, so I knew the area around Lake McKusick in Stillwater would be perfect for his senior portraits session. It has a tree lined, paved path and a wooden bridge that would give us a few different looks without having to go to a second location. Usually there’s a few spots along the path where you can get a view of the water in the background, but by mid September the grass along the path was pretty overgrown. Nevertheless we still got some great images that gave Alec the lake feel he was looking for.
Check out some more of Alec’s favorite images from his session and learn a little bit more about him.
