Briauna | Senior Photos in the Fall

Meet Briauna! When I was reading through Briauna’s answers to the pre-session questionnaire (something I send to all my seniors before their photo session) I KNEW she was going to be fun to work with. Being in National Honor Society, TAG,  student council, band and choir, she reminded me a lot of myself as a high schooler. But what really got me excited was when I saw that she classified her style as “cozy vintage 70’s inspired”. That’s the thing I love most about my senior photo sessions – each person is completely unique and I love letting their style and personality shine. And let me tell you, Briauna totally rocked her style at her senior photo session.

Briauna opted to do her photo session in the fall when the colors were at their brightest. She knew she wanted photos by the Boone River so we found the perfect park that had amazing fall color. I love how her first outfit really played off the colors so well.

Briauna is an artist. She loves to paint and draw in her free time, and can’t live without her sketchbook. I felt like her second outfit with her furry pink beret and her third outfit with the bold striped jumpsuit really showcased her creative artistic sides. And she rocked them both!

What are you looking forward to the most during your senior year?
Becoming more involved in extracurricular activities and expanding my friend group. 

What are 3 things you can’t live without?
My sketchbook, my pets, and my bluetooth speaker.

What’s your favorite thing to do on weekends?
I enjoy spending time with friends, whether it be having a movie night in or going shopping.  If my friends are busy, I like to paint and draw.

What’s your favorite music group or type of music?
Arctic Monkeys

What’s your favorite movie or TV show?
The Shining

What is your dream job?
I would like to become a concept artist for cartoons, animated movies, or video games.

What is your goal after high school?
I hope to attend Grandview University and major in art. I  would like to move to Oregon or Montana and work for a movie studio.
