Cael | Late Fall Senior Pictures in Iowa

This is Cael! Cael came to me for a late fall senior pictures session at the end of November. This was later in the year than he originally planned, but when you get injured during the football season and your arm is in a cast, there’s not much you can do! 

One possible downside to doing late fall senior pictures in Iowa, it can be cold and oftentimes windy. Luckily, the morning of Cael’s senior photo session the sun was out so that helped a little bit. I looked at it as we were just preparing him for the outdoor Iowa State Football game he went to later that day.

While it was a little chilly out, Cael was a trooper! He rocked 2 short sleeve looks without shivering too much. Needless to say, I can shoot fast when I need to! We were able to get a mix of urban, sports and nature backgrounds and 3 different outfits all within the span of an hour. And that included time to warm back up! Goes to show that no matter when you choose to do your senior photos, we can get variety of awesome images that are all about you in a short amount of time!

One of Cael’s favorite sports is football. He loves watching it and playing it, so of course one of the locations he wanted to use was the high school’s football stadium with his jersey and gear.

Cael is also a wrestler, so if you look closely, you’ll see we incorporated his wrestling shoes into the sports photos at the stadium. A little subtle nod to his awesome high school wrestling career that ended with a pin and him winning the 7th place trophy at State tournament. What an awesome way to end your senior year sports season. CONGRATULATIONS!
