Courtney | Senior Photo Sessions in Every Season

Meet Courtney! She was a part of my Clarion, Iowa photography studio Class of 2020 Street Team this past year. I first met Courtney a few years ago when her older sister, Cheyenne, came to me to do her senior photo session. It’s always fun to photograph siblings and create images that make their individual personalities shine. With both Cheyenne and Courtney, we did photograph them in the same locations but I utilized different areas so that they each had their own set of images.

Courtney is very involved in sports from playing basketball and softball, to running track and cheerleading. She’s received many recognitions such as being a two time state qualifier in the 100m dash and the 4x200m relay, as well as being awarded multiple varsity letters and being selected to the All Conference Team for basketball. I love how we worked ALL her sports into one awesome image during her summer senior photo session.

Courtney’s journey with me started in the early spring of 2019 and during her Launch Session we did some fun photos of her in the snow. That was the beginning of a series that we are putting together including an image from each photo session with Courtney throwing something in the air. We ended it with her tossing her cap!

What are you looking forward to the most during your senior year?
The thing I am most looking forward to during senior year is playing sports with my two best friends Quinn and Raven, especially playing my senior basketball season with them.

What’s your favorite thing to do on weekends?
My favorite thing to do on the weekend is spend time with my family and friends. I love going out to watch movies in the theater, having sleepovers with my sister in her dorm, and having game night where we play card and board games!

What’s your favorite music group or type of music?
80s Rock- Kansas, Boston, Journey or Disney movie soundtracks.

What’s your favorite movie or TV show?
Criminal Minds

What is your dream job?
I would like to do something in the medical field- Physical therapist, Anesthesiologist, General family practitioner, or another specialization
