Denver Colorado & Iowa Portrait Photography | Little Penny and her family

I had the privilege of photographing Penny and her family at the Palisades-Kepler State Park just outside of Cedar Rapids, IA. I had photographed a couple sessions there last year and knew it would be perfect for this little family. The water level of the river was super low so we do much with the water, but this park has some great architectural details and also some great wild flowers. I absolutely love the colors of the outfits that they wore, especially the mix of blues and browns. It gives some nice pops of color without being too distracting. Penny has such a great personality and she really showed it off at the session. I just adore the different faces she made – such a cutie!
