Last year I had the honor of photographing my best friend Sara’s amazing wedding back in Iowa. I was beyond ecstatic when she asked if I would help capture her big day. Being a wedding photographer herself, Sara has photographed many weddings and had been collecting ideas to use for her own day. She has somewhat of a vintage/crafty vibe to her so I knew it would be a beautiful affair with great details. She did not disappoint! Since she has so many friends in the wedding photography industry, she actually had seven photographers following her around all day!
The icing on the wedding cake is that after the grand event, Sara was contacted by Vintage Style Magazine. They had seen some of her images on her Facebook page and wanted to feature her wedding in their upcoming issue! So she dug through the thousands of image files, picked out some of her favorites that really showed off all the details, and sent them to be published. As a photographer, it’s very exciting to see your images in print and I’m so very thankful that Sara allowed me to be a part of her big day!
