Iowa & Denver High School Senior Portrait Photography | Abby’s Senior Session

I had so many amazing seniors this year that I feel so blessed and thankful to be doing what I love as a career! Abby’s session was one of my favorites just because she’s so darn photogenic and comfortable in front of the camera. The day we had planned on doing her session it had turned out to be SUPER windy but I had just gotten some new backgrounds in and one worked perfectly with her outfit and dark features so we played around in the studio for awhile. We wound up having to reschedule her outdoor part of the session, and hoped for a non windy day… which didn’t work out so well. If you lived in Iowa this past fall, you’ll remember how crazy windy it was, almost every day! On the rescheduled session day, it was still breezy out, not as bad as the other time, but we decided to have a “make it work” moment and give the outdoor shots a try. We actually were able to find some sheltered areas around town and then headed out to Lake Cornelia for a different look. I’d say we were successful and between the two sessions we got some killer images! Check these out:
