Iowa & Denver High School Senior Portraits | Kayla & the GTO

When Kayla called me to book her session, we started talking about where she wanted to do her session and and if there were any photos in particular that she had in mind. She had mentioned that the one photo that she really wanted was a photo with her late father’s GTO, his prized possession. “We can absolutely do that!”, I replied. So we designed her session around the perfect lighting time for the GTO shots since that was her main focus. Her session started in Clarion, hitting up different alleys around town for a little bit of the urban grunge look that she desired and then we headed out to Lake Cornelia to create some more nature-esque images. Since she wanted photos of the car, we found an awesome green space right across the street from her house that would provide the perfect background and lighting for those shots. This was such a fun session – hitting up some different areas to really create unique images for Kayla. There are so many photos that I love fro this session but pretty sure my favorite is the one of Kayla and the GTO.
