This is Jozey! I had so much fun getting to know her over the course of this past year. She was a part of my Class of 2020 Street Team so we got the opportunity to shoot together a couple different times. Her summer senior pictures are some of my favorites because of all the color! Jozey is incredibly sweet, a hard worker, and knows exactly what she wants. She was a lot of fun to work with.
When planning her summer senior pictures session, Jozey knew she wanted some photos on the farm site where she helps take care of the livestock. She knew of the perfect spot in the field where the owner had parked an old tractor years ago. Let me tell you – the words “old tractor” and “middle of the field” are like music to this photographer’s ears! The spot was amazing and I was super thankful that we had a little cloud cover that day to provide us with some nice soft light. Definitely unique photos that no one else in her class would have!
Another spot Jozey knew she wanted to utilize was her school’s softball diamond and dug out. While Jozey plays a lot of sports including basketball, track and running cross country, I think it’s safe to say that her favorite is softball. During the 2019 season, Jozey hit 3 home runs, one which was a Grand Slam. While her school has opted to not sponsor sports for the 2020 summer season due to COVID, that’s not stopping Jozey! She was accepted into a different school’s team and while it means driving 2 hours one way for practice each day, she’s excited to be able to play one last year of high school softball.
