Meet Liz, a recent graduate from Douglas County High School. Liz was a part of my Senior Model Team last year so we got to do multiple photo sessions over the course of the year. I had so much fun getting to know Liz – she truly is a fascinating and talented lady. She is a self-proclaimed “nerd” with a huge passion for science and art. She spends her free time sketching or painting and always has her sketch book with her so she’s ready whenever inspiration strikes. I was amazed at Liz’s level of dedication – being a part of Future Business Leaders of America, Art Club, National Honor Society, IB Council, and Sociedad Honoraria Hispanica (Spanish Honor Society) on top of her normal studies. She is going to go far in this world that’s for sure!

Another thing I loved about Liz was her own personal style. Her favorite things to wear are graphic tees, sweaters, and anything in her signature color – black! Definitely a girl after my own heart seeing how most of my wardrobe is also various shades of black 🙂 For her senior photo session she went for a classic look, choosing pieces in solid, darker colors. I just loved how everything she put together looked amazing and effortless.

Q: What’s your favorite music group or type of music?
A: It changes periodically. Right now I have a playlist with a mix of some metal bands and alternative rock bands.

Q: Do you have a favorite color?
A: I’ve been favoring purple lately.

Q: What’s your favorite candy?
A: Hands down those sour patch watermelon candies!
