Mitchell | Minneapolis High School Senior Photography

The past couple of weeks my blog posts have been all about wedding photography and engagement sessions. I thought I’d switch gears today and feature one of my recent high school senior photography sessions instead. Meet Mitchell. He is a 2013 graduate of Stillwater High School in Stillwater, Minnesota. I had the privilege of photographing his sister’s senior session a couple years back and was honored to get a phone call from his mom wanting to set up a time for his session this summer. It was great to be back in the Stillwater area, the place I called home for almost 3 years. I loved being able to shoot in the historic downtown again, filled with lots of great nooks and crannies to shoot in. Earlier in the spring, Mitchell had done some photos with his dirt bikes so for this session he wanted more urban/grunge look. I loved his outfits too – as a guy you can never go wrong with solid colored button downs for a photo session. Pair them with dark denim and there ya go!
