Paige | Senior Pictures Around the Midwest

This is Paige! Paige was another member of my Class of 2020 Street Team, so her senior pictures journey with me began in the early spring of her junior year with her Street Team Launch session in Clarion. The Launch sessions are so much fun for me because it’s usually the first time I’m meeting them in person and I get a chance to see their personality first hand. It gets my creativity flowing with ideas on what to do for their full senior session later in the year.

Paige wanted to do something different for her senior photos, so she came up to Stillwater for her summer senior pictures session. We started the day off with makeup by my wonderful makeup artist, Cristina from Cristina Ziemer Beauty, then headed out to explore.

I love Paige’s sense of style. She had a nice mix of casual and more dressy looks, and also chose some outfits that had great pops of color. All the outfits she brought worked great with the different backgrounds we chose for her photos. I also love that she brought some props like a sunhat and some bubbles to play around with.

Personalizing the session to my seniors is super important to me. Paige told me that one of her favorite foods is popcorn, so of course we worked that into her session. I think the action shots we got with it were super fun!

Another thing I love about my seniors is when they have access to special places that I normally wouldn’t get to shoot at. Paige has family that lives up in Stillwater, so we got permission to shoot outside at their awesome Victorian home. Then for her fall senior pictures session, we hit up their family farm and did photos around there with her dog. I love it because these photos are truly one of a kind, no other senior will have these photos, and they are places that are special to her.
