Meet Ryann! Ryann was a member of my Class of 2020 Street Team. But even more special than that, she was the 4th person in her family that I did senior photos for. It all started with her oldest sister, Alex’s senior pictures session back in 2010. It’s been so much fun to see how each girl differs and finding a way to photograph them to showcase their personality.

For Ryann’s senior pictures session we headed into downtown St. Paul. My favorite thing about shooting in St. Paul is that you get the city look and feel but don’t have to deal with insane amounts of traffic (oh and I get to shoot in different locations, helloooo creativity!). Ryann’s session was on a Friday, so we planned on shooting mid-afternoon so we could get out of downtown before rush hour started.

Since parking can be a pain (not to mention having to pay for parking everywhere you go), my goal was to find one spot that gives us a lot of great locations all within walking distance. I found a spot that had a variety of background options – all except the skyline view that Ryann was looking for. However, Ryann knew of a great “hidden” spot that had an amazing skyline view so it all worked out! We got everything we wanted, all without having to move cars. YAY!
