Meet Spencer! I had so much fun photographing his graduation photos around Clarion, Iowa. He’s such a character and made me laugh a lot during his session! One of the outfits he brought was a little more formal so we started his session by photographing that outfit in studio before heading outside into the summer heat. He said the suit reminded him of Pulp Fiction so he struck a few poses to pay tribute to the movie. I don’t often photograph seniors in the studio since we can’t do as much as we can outdoors, but it was fun doing something a little more formal for a change.

Spencer is a very easy going guy – he just goes with the flow. Because of his laid back style and personality, I wanted to do the majority of his graduation photos outside. We found a couple alleyways in Clarion that went well with his outfits, and also gave him a couple different looks for each one.

What are you looking forward to the most during your senior year?
Not going to school until 10 A.M. and getting to hang out with those people you really don’t consider friends, but you interact with them anyways.

What’s your favorite music group or type of music?
Favorite group is Saint Motel and my favorite type is kind of rock.
What’s your favorite movie or TV show?
My Hero Academia
If you were given a million dollars tomorrow and had only one day to spend it, what would you do?
I would spend the day buying plane tickets and prepaying hotels all over the world, so that I would have a bunch of trips to go on over the year.
