Meet Zoe! I first met Zoe and her family a couple years ago when I attended the ribbon cutting for their family business, Valley Pools & Spas of Hudson. At that time her older sister, Honor, was needing senior portraits and booked a session with me. They are such a great family and I had so much fun with them during Honor’s session, that when it was time to start putting together my Class of 2020 Street Team, I knew I wanted Zoe on my team!
The thing I absolutely love about each and every one of my seniors is that they are all so unique and different. I love learning about what they are passionate about and what makes them tick, then designing their senior portraits experience around that. For instance, Zoe is part of her school’s powerlifting team so of course we wanted to incorporate that into her session. And what better place to photograph those images than her school’s weight room. I don’t often get to drag out my off camera flash units for a senior session, so we got to have some fun. A big shoutout to her dad for being my human light stand 🙂
Another thing that Zoe is really passionate about is serving her country. As a high schooler, the summer between your junior and senior year is usually spent hanging out with friends. Zoe, instead, spent the summer away at Basic Training in preparation for her journey to the National Guard. Since this was such a big part of her life, she wanted photos in her uniform and they had the perfect location picked out for these images.
